Soft surfaced, striated rock surface with a water filled hollowed out pocket with stones at the bottom in black and white.
Close up photography of natural subjects whether they be wood, stone or botanicals offer ud a world of intrigue and unexpected surprises.  In a broad area of eroded stone next to a river in Alberta, Canada were hundreds of hollowed out pockets filled with water and stones and pebbles living in them.  The silvery tones and shapes were wonderful to work with in creating a strong geometric composition.
