The pointed concrete modern architectural forms of the National Gallery of Art against up into a cloud streaked sky in B&W.
The National Gallery of Art in Washington DC is a beautiful example of modern architecture.  The masonry construction of this graphic, geometric structure seems to stab at the smooth, sensuous tonalities of the cloud streaked sky produced by a long exposure.  I anticipated and achieved a strong elemental contrast between the concrete structure and sky by using a 30 second time exposure.
